Christmas may have come and gone, but the holiday lights are still twinkling at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. There are thousands of lights decorating these picturesque gardens. There carolers are singing. And, the ice skating rink is still beckoning you to take a spin.
The garden’s main attraction during the holidays is their 12 Days of Christmas displays. Tucked throughout the garden, these displays represent the 12 verses from the 12 Days of Christmas song. You’ll find turtledoves and swimming swans. You’ll see dancing ladies, golden rings and geese laying eggs. It’s a walk designed to be enjoyed with your true love, your family or your friends.
Gather at the center garden for additional holiday cheer where carolers and musicians play tunes by request. But, don’t forgot a warm coat and gloves. Victoria may well be known for its warmer climate, but the farther you travel inland, the further the temperatures drop!
Just how long will the lights be up? Until January 6. You still have a few days to book your ticket. What are you waiting for?
